After establishing a love for the surf and travel in South America, Fernando and Santiago Aguerre chased their dream of making high-quality sandals that could withstand days spent in the sand. Fernando and Santiago kicked things off along Southern California's sunny beaches in 1984. It didn't take long before Reef's sandals gained the appraise of the public, and the company was granted decades of success as a result of their quality, versatile footwear. Following years of business prosperity, Reef was able to give back with their program called "We Heart." This initiative has a mission of "promoting education, supporting community development, and preserving the natural environment" and works with their brand ambassadors to allow Reef the opportunity of giving back to the communities that have helped it become the brand it is today.
