Badger started from a problem and a passion in the year 1994. Owned by Bill Whyte, who was a house contractor in the northeast that suffered harsh cracks in his hand during the winter season, Badger is a result of finding a solution for this painful problem. After trying tons of various methods with little to show, Bill finally whipped up a combination of bee's wax and olive on his stove, and with that, Badger--well, it was originally called "Bear Paw"-- was born. Bill began handing out samples to his carpenter friends and the product really caught on. Fast forward a few years to the present, and you'll see that Bill is able to craft a range of wonderful care products that stem from his passion for herbs and floral fragrances.
